For any further information about the BlueFit Swimming program at your preferred facility, please speak with one of our friendly team members at reception.

Introducing Bluey The Whale:

Here at BlueFit Swimming we have a very friendly mascot, Bluey. Some of you may have already spotted Bluey around, he is a very friendly and blue whale.

To properly introduce our mascot, we thought we’d include a very special message from Bluey himself:

“Hi friends, my name is Bluey! I work here at BlueFit Swimming, my job is to help keep a friendly face around the pool. To help you get to know me, I thought I’d quickly list a few things that you should know about me:

  • I like long swims at the beach (I’m not a huge fan of walks).
  • I love to make a splash!
  • I’m well known for going on long adventures. I love to explore new places and meet new people…maybe we’ll get to meet sometime soon?
  • When I’m not working you’ll often find me hanging out with all of my BlueFit Swimming friends.

Well friends, now you know all about me. One final thing, I just wanted to let you know that I really do look forward to making a splash with you soon!

…Until then, remember to swim safe!”

Learn to Swim – Frequently Asked Questions

BlueFit anticipates to commence swimming lessons on 30th January 2024

Learn to swim enrolments will be transferred to BlueFit. Our dedicated team is working behind the scenes to avoid any timetable changes. However, some changes are unavoidable. Should there be any changes that affect your enrolment we will be in contact with you in advance to arrange a solution.

BlueFit anticipates a high level of retention of the existing swim instructors, so you will be continuing to see the same friendly faces at the facility upon transition.

Prices remain the same and charged by direct debit in advance on a fortnightly basis. Further information will be provided to swim school families closer to the commencement of lessons.

Unfortunately, we do not offer casual lessons. All classes are paid in smaller amounts via a fortnightly direct debit. We will be in contact with swim school families on this change. Gary will pass on your deposit amount to credit your account.

Once your current upfront payment balance has been exhausted you will be required to convert to a direct debit. Payments methods include credit card or bank account and are paid fortnightly in advance.

BlueFit Swimming uses an online parent portal for class management. Students will be able to mark themselves absent up to 2 hours prior to their lesson via the parent portal. Students are entitled to 12 make-up lessons per calendar year. Make-up lessons are not transferable or refundable. All class management is completed through the parent portal.

We have obtained your enrolment information in the existing program and mapped your child’s level to the BlueFit Swimming program. Skill levels will remain the same however, the level names will change. Further information will be provided to our families close to the change in management.

Pool Deck Coordinators are available to discuss your child’s progression however you will also be able to view this in the portal from January onwards. We assess all children in the program every 4-6 weeks in their class. We continually monitor all student’s progress in conjunction with their swim teacher.  If you wish to discuss your child’s progress, please speak to the Pool Deck Coordinators who are always on duty. It is the Pool Deck Coordinators role to provide customer service and feedback on program participants.

The parent portal allows you to view your child’s progress, book make-up classes, pay outstanding fees and view important swim school resources. You will receive further information and instructions on how to access our parent portal closer to your child’s lesson next year. Please note skills in the portal will not be updated until the first few weeks of lessons at the facility.

We will have plenty of staff onsite to support the change. As we change over the program we will issue you with a new BlueFit Swimming access card.
